This striking mosaic artwork is a tribute to Antonio Canova.
The original work is a marble sculpture with an approximate height of 90 cm.  It was produced by the Venetian sculptor Antonio Canova and dated somewhere between 1793 and 1796.
The original is housed at the Palazzo Doria-Tursi in the Galleria di Palazzo Bianco in Genova.
